Anna Berezhny
Anna Berezhny studied Jazz piano in the Kiev Music Academy in Ukraine where she graduated summa cum laude. After that she studied in Germany at the renowned Folkwang University Essen by Prof. Thomas Hufschmidt and Peter Walter piano and drums.
She participated at the numerous vocal, piano and jazz workshops with the likes of John Taylor, Steve Swallow, Adam Nussbaum, Dave Liebman, Romy Cameroon, Julia Roma, Tatjana Rusova, Eric Schaefer, Michael Wollny, Eva Kruse and gave concerts in various European countries as well as performances with renowned musicians like Barry Guy and others. She played with international jazz greats like John Goldsby, Bart van Lier as well as at the Jazz Festival in Dnepropetrovsk (Ukraine) and in renowned concert halls like the Domicil jazz club in Dortmund and the Jazzschmiede in Düsseldorf Germany.
Anna Berezhny is the "first half" of the Duo Grace, with her husband Alexander Berezhny.
